The Reverse K Bar Ranch produces all natural grass fed beef, produce and fresh herbs. Everything at the Reverse K Bar Ranch is produced without the use of any chemicals just clean mountain water, sunshine and hard work.
The Reverse K Bar Ranch is located at 6200 ft southwest of Collbran, CO in the shadows of the Grand Mesa. Hayfields and grass pastures irrgated by snowmelt from the Grand Mesa makeup the majority of the 200 acre ranch. A small herd of cattle graze the grass pastures in the summer and are fed hay produced in the hayfields during the winter months. Approximately two acres are farmed to grow the fresh produce and herbs that families across Western Colorado enjoy throughout the summer and early fall.
The Reverse K Bar Ranch started producing grass fed beef in 1972 and continues to do so. Beef can be purchased by the cut or as a whole or half animal. Customers rave about the taste as well as how lean the meat is.
Gardening has always been integral to the family members at the Ranch. In 2005 we expanded so we could share the great vegetables and herbs with others. Vegetables are sold through a Community Supported Agriculture Program in the summer months. As a result of a new baby girl, Alma, and the need to change our farming practices we won't be offering a CSA this summer but will do so for the summer of 2009.
